On the floor below the marines found themselves stood among dozens of bodies--perhaps hundreds. Almost none of the crew here were armed, they had never stood a chance.
Holding in for a moment Scribe checked how those crewmen died, perhaps that would tell him what was waiting up ahead.
<Ignacius Purus> Brothers this is a massacre! I believe we need to proceed carefully for we are bound to find those who did this to these men!
"Either deamons or their insane comrades, it shouldn't be too hard to find them." Scytella took off his helmet, revealing a face barely controlling it's rage. He took a deep breath and screamed at the top of his lungs: "ANY OF THOSE WHO STILL HOLD THE EMPEROR DEAR COME HERE! IF NOT COME TO MEET YOUR DEATH, TRAITORS AND HELLSPAWN ALIKE!" After a moments pause he put his helmet back on and then whispered quietly "We should move down another floor, as long as we don't melt into the brig itself we should be fine."
<Ignacius Purus> Brother Scytella hold your rage! It won't do us any good we need to be focused and keep our minds on the task at hand. When the Traitors and the Hellspawn show themselves we will Purge them in the name of the Emperor!
Jager- looked down to the dead Crew and said a prayer for them. His eye Scanned for any serfs that belonged to the space marines. he shook his head It was possible they made it to the sergeants position. He raised his multimelta Ready to procead
"We can mourn them later, move!" Scribe ushered his brothers along. He would indeed mourn these men and women later. Pinning the sketch he made of the drill Sergeant and his men to the wall, like so many others. Following his own prompt he started pacing towards the exit of this gruesome scene.
<Sho'nohak> "I share your sentiment Brother Scytella but we need to move, we're tarried here long enough and the grim truth of it anyone who is alive on this ship is where they need to be and those who have any hope of surviving....well we're not. " Revving up his chainsword to hack through a series of bloody sinews that had started to sprout from the walls due to the warp corruption he pressed on. "Keep moving Brothers, we don't have much longer. " Like that Sho'nohak was pressing on toward the Brig, teeth grit to the point one of them had chipped. Swallowing the shattered fragments of his tooth he carried himself forward toward the brig as fast as possible without breaking squad cohesion.
Mytis, reading his book while following the group, soon spoke up, calmly despite the events of today. "I have a suggestion: Seeing the state of the ship, I would think the armory would be unsealed. So if some of us had a detour to there, we could claim some better weapons from there." While following the group, he keeps watch for anything hiding from the team's sight.
