  1. <Ignacius Purus>

Ignacius fired several hails of Inferno Bolt Rounds at the Daemonic threath setting two of the beasts ablaze.
They died with a unrealistic hellish shriek, but not one that would disturb a Space Marine.

After that Ignacius positioned himself close by to Brother Devastator Jager to be ready to provide close ranged support if necessary.

''Brothers, you must hurry. The gellar field is reading as being at 14%!'' the sergeant said. ''Find the engineer already!''

[OOC: Which is to say, go get him :p]

"Quickly Brothers, we have wasted enough time!" Even though proper doctrine said that he must wait for the others, he ran on ahead himself towards the resident quarters.

When he got there Scytella switched the vox broadcaster on his helmet to it's highest volume and shouted: "A Techpriest! The fate of this ship relies on a techpriest!" He then raised his bolter and waited for a response, no doubt that would call on hordes of the insane but hopefully also a reply without having to search each room.

There was a reply, but the transmission was fragmented. It was clear that somebody nearby was trying to respond. The marine's helmet traced the source of the transmission to a block of five rooms, not far from the Salamander's position. Whoever had responded had to be in one of those rooms.

Scytella made his way towards the apartment as quick as his legs could carry him, on the way he sent another transmission: "Coming to your position, I can only hear static, send two bursts if you are under attack."

There was a momentary pause before two bursts of static came through on the vox.

As Scytella neared the area in question, he could see a pair of bloodletters. One was mutilating a crew member's body, whilst the other was trying to carve through the door to one of the rooms.

As soon as he saw the demon Scytella looked around for the nearest heavy bolter turret but found none. Knowing these creatures aggressive tendencies it wouldn't be that hard to lure them away from the door. The marine rounded the corner and roared: "FOUL SPAWN OF CHAOS, YOU WILL RETURN TO YOUR GOD A FAILURE!"

His bolter spoke as he emptied as much fire into the bloodletter battering at the door as possible before retreating into the hallway to reload.

  8. Picking up where his brother left of scribe switched from aimed single shots to full on suppression fire. Advancing towards the bloodletters filling them with massreactive shells tearing of limbs to reduce their combat prowes. Trying to draw their attention away from breaching the door scribe began to recite holy litanies, heard from chaplains and read in scriptures alike.

"Of course, Brother. I shall tend to the faithful", turning to the armsmen as Sho'nohak and the squad left. His skull-faced visage looked into each man's eyes and took stock of each soldier, his presence an assurance and a promise. "Do you men know of any other squads that might be cut off from us?" There was no hesitance, no doubt, no fear. He couldn't allow them any time to dwell on what they had seen.
