    (OOC: I wrote Seth's speech thinking most of you were in the diner hall. You three, Kholivaz and the humans..?)

    [OOC Easily fixed by a swift relocation of Kara and Cair to the dining hall. Dessert after crackers, perhaps.]

  4. OOC: I am back as well guys! Will be on and off for the next couple hours cause I need to eat, but I will reply to Jorimel for Cair! Also, I think Cair needs to restock his cracker supply anyway so off to the kitchen before the speech! And Architect, were the two corsairs in the kitchen as well?

    <Cair, pre-speech>
    "It is a pleasure to meet you Kara'shanwe. I must confess to having little knowledge of the Spiders, and to having misplaced or eaten most of my crackers. So why don't we walk to the kitchen to obtain more crackers and you can enlighten me of the Spiders. In turn, I can regale you with tales of the other races far and wide." If anything, he was grinning more than ever before, Kara's attitude was infectious, certainly a positive quality when combined with her positive demeanor, especially in a group with a mission such as there's. "Ah, but first the wine!" Cair expertly pours two glasses of the wine, and hands one to the Spider. "After you Kara."

    Rharijem looked at the beverage and wondered if the slight steam and the bubble sensation was just aesthetic or if the beverage was actually that hot. The Servant simply gave him an re-assuring nod when Rharijem was uncertain to drink it.

    The Crimson Hunter grabbed the glass and pressed it slowly on his lips, taking it's smell first in before trying it. And then like a 'true' male he drank it all in one gulp as it was meant to be drunk. The sensation was overwhelming.

    It was not cool like the Ice Berry Wine, leaving a delightful cool on tongue and throat - Which for some may be actual freezing. This invention of Saim-Hann was the entire opposite. Harsh, Explosive, Burning, Rough.

    Like a Fire Dragon blasting into the rear off a Mon'Keigh Leman Russ Vehicle. First a blazing stream, followed by the violent explosion! With tongue, teeth and every other particle of the mouth - including the lips - burning in a somewhat painful, yet so opening and adrenaline-rushing sensation it only picked up with the passing milli-cycle.

    You would think the sensation would slowly fade or become more tolerable but instead it was like a true blazing inferno to those unknown to it. Just breathing in caused his mouth to burn even more, like Oxygen feeding a wildfire and spreading it further. The burning found it's way as deep as his throat.

    Rharijem just sat there, staring at his empty glass while keeping himself under control, clenching and relaxing his fists while his more icy-face had an obvious touch of crimson-red. His breathing increased as the heat grew, filling his entire body. Why did he even try this beverage? What came over him to be such fool?

    Kara smiled and took the wine. She sipped at it, enjoying the coolness against her tongue. It was refreshing, but subtle, as were most Eldar beverages.

    "Thank you. And perhaps there will be something sweet, for I admit I do have a fondness for such things." She accompanied the Reaper to the refectory, talking as they went.

    "I believe - so far as I have seen - that I am the only representative of the Spider-Shrines aboard the Anam Alqatheir. And as such I cannot say how typical I will be," the Spider paused, that little tilt to her head giving the lie to her words without meaning to, "but I will gladly do my best to represent my brothers and sisters in Khaine as well as I may."

    "As to tales, I have a great fondness for them. In the times between battle - when I am not in practice, and when the Seers say it is dangerous to make too much time for war - I like to write, though that is mostly for my own entertainment. I have not taken a Writer's Path." She navigated the door to the kitchens, sidestepping a hurrying Guardian who seemed to be making his way to where a small group was gathering. "How about yourself? What does a Reaper do when they are between wars?" Kara had asked the question of another Dark Reaper already today, and she was keen to find out if his response was the general one. Perhaps her Shrine's practice wasn't as prevalent as she had supposed.

    The gathering ahead was growing. For the ship's population, it was now quite sizeable.

    OOC: Rharijem is post-speech in the Food Court / Cantina / Dining Hall :p

    "To be fair, I have met several Spiders, so I know the general components of the Aspect, but I have never gotten a chance to talk with a member of the Aspect about anything outside of specific mission details." Entering the kitchens, the Reaper quickly locates the remaining crackers, along with some Ulthwen pastries. "Here, try these for your dessert! As for what I do in my off time, that's an excellent question, with my duties on Iyanden only recently ending, most of my down time lately has been spent reviewing mission data, sleeping, etc. And before Kraken hit, my down time was spent among the Mon-Keigh and the Tau, so I was either in combat, or being in social situations, some of which were more stressful than combat. The little free time that left me was typically spent trying to figure out the various alien weapons I came into contact with, but even that is exhausting for the mind. Perhaps I should take up cooking, I do so enjoy food, but I have little practical experience with it, and wouldn't know where to start." Looking around at the gathered crowd, he follows that with: "What do you think is going on here?"

    OOC: Jori, ready to go post-speech? And I wouldn't advise cavity searching Cair, he is rather big, and has recently spent a lot of time in rather close quarters with Tyranids, so he's a little funny about "unwanted touching"
