Alright I'm going to raise a suggestion for you the Sorcerer and the Chirurgeon camps to unite behind: Try and talk Brent into adding a Khornate "Sorcerer" build as a CC Chirurgeon. Stumbled over that at B&C while looking for Chaos Apothecary conversions the other day. Bookmarked it so I'm looking at his stuff. Not bad, Sorcerer and the Apo are the best he's done. Does need more Nurgling. The helm and Force Scythe are a nice start
I know you said other things but I saw Khornate Sorcerer and immediately, violently sat up in my chair. That aside, I like the idea since the 'skill trees' so to speak for chaos will probably involve heading towards one god or the other and the aspiring sorcerer would be shafted one branch of upgrades (aka Khorne) that the other classes would have access to. That leads into; Would chirurgeons then have access to the sorcerous powers of the actual sorcerer or would going Khornate shut the rest of them off? And his armor's way too intact for someone consistently channeling the power of the Great Corrupter.
If you go Khorne for a CSM Apothecary i think it should definitely shut off the ability for psychich stuff. He psykers so it shouldn't be available, it should do something different i think.
Of course you'd be a psychic null (especially with a Colar !!) but Khorne does give power in the form of auras and stuff. Just no direct ranged powers. That's why I put "Sorcerer" in little finger quotes, same as the Space Wolf "Apothecary", to prevent violent reaction But who can say if that's practical, it's an interesting idea and probably more likely than a brand new 5th class pre-launch: Chirugeon: We've found a lump on your 3rd testicle. Raptor: Oh Gods. Chirurgeon: No no, stay calm. The good news is that we can operate but we need to do it soon. Pretty noninvasive. We make a small incision here and here, cut that membrane there, remove the skull, scoop out the lump, sew up and you'll be back to ambushing by lunch. Raptor: Erm, can you repeat that ? And yeah Nurglites have standards. If only the CSM Death Guard were loved as much as Fantasy WoC You must be this putrid to enter.
