Anyone else think it's stupid that for $5 you only get 4k RTC and $10 only nets you 9k? Most games with a premium economy usually go for a 1:100 or 1:1000 conversion. Not saying it has to be that way, looking at you Warframe, but considering several factors, I think they're shooting themselves in the foot. When you price things at 5k and 10k, yet the $5 and $10 dollar options bring you just short, people are probably going to be less likely to spend. Let's face it, most people probably spend $5-$10 dollars at a time. Then if you price things like RTC weapons and certain cosmetics at 5k/10k, it's going to piss off players because they're going to have to spend $10-15 to get what they want.
Generally the Cosmetic prices are much too high. When you look at the Eldar cosmetics especially, that's just ridicilus (Buy a shoulder for 5k that you can use on 1 class only? But you have to buy the exact same for the other side too? Wtf?)
I think the worst ones are like only a helmet and maybe different arm, like for Dire Avegners, for 10k!!!
they should refund all cosmetics and give them all free, they all suck compared to space marine. 10k for teeth? 10k for a single chest? when that's the same price as the bundles? $10 for 1 item ingame that's just a cosmetic? why not actually put all those different armours into the AP system in stead?
The games already going free to play, do you expect the entire game to be completely free with no source of income for the company behind it?
Those aren't helmets, they are shrine colours, it changes the colour only. Its like getting another colour pallet. How is this different? Well it means you can use the default or the special helmet for the classes and also get the Shrine colours.
Its the most basic of marketing strategies. Prices are almost always slightly higher then an individual priced item. Its so you buy the next pack up.
yes, but i wish i could leave a note saying "fuck you" with my paypal payment whenever a game does that. i bought a game at full price and it's being given out free now, i have access to most of the content, but i can't buy all of the content with the RTC i got from having bought the game as a founder. it should just all be unlocked, if they're giving out whole expansions free why can't i get some free heresy gear? they always said that f2p was coming with orks at least, though. i understand why they put it in all factions, too. why can't i get RTC from daily logins like F2P people do?
Your also paying £10 for a recolour not a remodel, you also have to buy it for that one class, the value of these recolur scams are all over the place, Banshee is 10k for a full body while a helmet colour invert for avengers is 10k while the same with but with a leg change is 4k for Scorpions Further more you pay more for a low effort and quality recolour which in turn has to be bought 7 times since only like 5 Eldar items in the entire game is usable by another class and even those only affect 3 classes tops compared to say space marine who pay 2k for a remodel helmet available on every single class. Making it it's own slot hardly justifies this insulting high price, even League of Legends is better priced.
