Dont worry,Steven(i belive it was him) said a while ago that as long as a faction keeps being talked and discussed about,it will end up added. As for Tau fans, they are here, you just need to look a little harder.
Havent decided what to go for yet gonna be intriguing to see how this game develops why cant i read anything about the dev pack? Anyobe know?
True, but the higher ranking Necrons have quite interesting personalities But I'm with you, until then I encourage people to embrace Chaos!
"Quite interesting" is relatively opposite to what I call the new mentality of the new codex Necrons. But in relation to the game, people would not play higher ranking Necrons, since they don't form an army (Don't tell Matt Ward about this though, or else we have an Army of Necron Lords in the next one!) So yeah, the standard Necron would not be as personal as, say, a Space Marine since it's not thinking on its own, quite like most Tyranids intellect is surpressed by the Hive mind.
I get what your saying, but that reason alone shouldn't limit the Necron race to being strictly NPC's. I mean how cool would it be to blast a squad with a Tesla Carbine or be a sniper as a Deathmark!? Would make for some interesting game play
I heard another opinion is the lack of customization of pretty much all Necron units besides the highest level units. And also like the Tyranids they're supposed to move in inhumanly regimented formations as they slowly stalk across the battlefield. Also they're slow as hell. Welcome to the forum Tau, I for one look upon your species with interest.
Slow in close combat, but not slow in overall movement, especially if equipped as jump infantry. Necrons can work as a player race!
The Tau are pretty sweet, being the only(correct me if i'm wrong) benevolent force in this very grimdark universe.
