More or less. Heavier weapons should be set up so they have a denser pool of targets, so if possible, in line with the target's route of travel, along with one or two others for support, this will be the shorter base of the L. The majority of the rest should be set up in concealment to one side of the route of travel, this will be the tall side of the L and represent the majority of the overt threat. If we won't have to worry about friendly fire, than the ambush can be a U instead, but even with friendly fire, a second squad should be set to the "empty" side of the ambush, with instructions to focus on disabling vehicles before targeting the loyalists from behind. This is also where any raptors should be placed, so that the enemy's back is turned when they attack.
My favorite battlefield trick was to just put explosives on my dirt bike and coast it in to enemy tank, jumping off and detonating when it got close enough. As a raptor tho im hoping that my jet pack will launch me high enough into the air far enough away that I can come down right on top of the tank.
Raptors I think will be best when supporting havocs, they can counter any unit who tries to take down the squad and then quickly jump to support other units.
Can someone tell me why I now have the "subordinate" title? I've been gone for a couple weeks on a hiking trek and I come back to this.
Look at these though. Made by this guy: http://just40k.tumblr.com/post/91157098939/night-lords-requested-by-thetalkingpoltergeist
