Apparently, both PC and console users will play on the same server, so I guess it doesn't really matter which system will you use (If you look from that perspective ofc).

The only console truly confirmed at the moment is PC, so that is where I will be playing.

• Will I be making a strike force (guild/chapter/warband/etc) for Eternal Crusade?

Yes.
It will be primarily North American based, but because it will utilize a single server technology (here's hoping), we can have a larger group without limitations.

• Can I play X or Y in the strike force?

I can't answer that, play anything you want - but we do not yet know how certain classes or unlocks will play, such as Terminators.

I will probably start seriously organizing the group around the time of the founder like program in the summer.
