For those of you who took the time to watch the stream, first, thank you. and second, That was only a test stream while I tried to get things figured out. The random silence is me talking (TS push-to-talk and the stream push-to-talk were different buttons oops) also when I stream properly I'll make sure not to keep opening the steam overlay and such. Listen up guys, we in LoA are working our asses off in order to get the community going so here is a glimpse of what we are working upon. So, few days ago we came up with the idea of fleshing out our background as a guild, and in order to do so we decided upon two things. First being the series of short stories (eight of them, for the VIII Legion), that will be fleshing out our background in times of Horus Heresy. Here is the time table: Battle short stories time table: 1. Before Isstvan V 2. Before Isstvan V - Isstvan V Dropsite Masacre - 006.M31 3. During or shortly after Isstvan V - Thramas Crusade - 007-009.M31 4. During Thramas Crusade or elswhere in the galaxy within its timespan 5. During Thramas Crusade or elswhere in the galaxy within its timespan - Battle of Sotha - 009.M31 6. After Battle of Sotha 7. After Battle of Sotha - Siege of Terra - 014.M31 8. During or shortly after siege of Terra Each short will be featuring a brief flashback from those times and will depict main characters of our guild lore as they were back then. Every story will be written up by different author who will have absolute freedom of how the plot will be handled. So the outcome is yet unknown - since we have so far 3 of them written down, but all will be ready by the end of the week. Another idea, after we are done with the short stories, is to run a guild RPG. It will feature our history after the HH events, and specifically our way to Arkhona and reasons to be there. our alliance with forces with Abaddon, our enemies and other allies. Also warband assets and troop disposition. It is yet to be decided if the RP will be play by post style or hosted live on teamspeak with support of roll20 website. It pretty much depends on the number of players and we got 5 of our guild members willing to participate in the second stage of our background building. I'm a slow writer so I should probably pick one and get the ball rolling Don't want to double post. I think all the stories so far are good, but I also think everyone will thoroughly enjoy the third story.
