In terms of tactics, it very much depends on the map being played, but as a general rule you would want
    2 raptors
2 havocs ( heavy bolter and plasma cannon)
4 traitors either ground assult or standard
And 2 sorcerers one offensive one defensive

As a general rule this type of squad is the most pliable in most situations. But can also be split further if required. Depends on what you want.

If you want mobility the go heavier on assaults, that way the assaults can open up the way for the tactical to arrive and get the mark.

If you want to control an area more havocs but with one or two assaults, the havocs can suppress the other team while the assaults ground pound the crap out of them. The sorcer should be running around like a mad man.

Remember a ground assult can take out huge squads, I have seen elfas do it once or twice. It works both ways so this is why you want to spread your skill and troops. Like Lord Horus many millennia ago, his troops were not the best at one thing but rather, good at everything.

thats bad because it takes too much people togehter. Now ingame there is 16 ppl on one team,
So better 2 tacticals, 1 havoc 1 sorc and 2 raptors, ore even just tacticatl, 2 raptors and sorc.
  3. I didn't say they'd only be effective in a pure group, but I think if any unit type would be effective in a single unit squad it would be them, as they can travel paths that nobody else can. In the situation you suggest they can still redeploy to your position or divert some of their men to support you. I think it would cause more shock and awe that way as well because if you have a permanent Raptor attachment then they'll expect Raptor support, if the Raptor squad is independent then they won't know when to expect them. Also if we become large enough we can have both. But I think Raptors could be most effective as an independent support unit, going wherever needed at the time.

Like I said for myself I think a mostly pure Tactical squad would work best for my playstyle, which involves a lot of flanking, targets of opportunity, and versatility. Havoks in my case aren't as mobile so I think they'd be better utilized in a different squad.

It's just a suggestion, do we know squad sizes in game, as that will affect layout.
You want more tacticals than other classes as they are the ones which win objectives. If you have one tactical if they die then you could wait as long as 15 seconds plus running time back to the objective. And currently to flip a objective takes roughly 1 min. 15 seconds could make the difference.

Besides what I suggested only takes 10 people which can be split further if need be. Hopefully we will have more than 16 vs16. Think there hoping for 60 vs 60 or more So 6 squads of 10 or 7 squads with 4 left over. To many squads will make it difficult to manage as some may get confused on objectives

our goal #1 is still to rework organisation level of squads, i still cant contact few commanders, and without lord sharr we cant reach even 10% of completion =\

Talking about squads need to be done after we actualy have the fully operating squads.

@Savage is bisy, our job is to prepare those changes, before he comes and actually make them.

Tomorrow I will come home and add all commanders to group conversation, there I will prepare info for lord sharr. All commanders please write your forum names. The conversation will last 2-3 days depending on activity of commanders. We will sort commanders and players as EU and US. Also all roles, squad names etc may be discussed. Please help me at this quest my brothers.
Think of me as of basement for work, I will prepare the ground basis and assign first objectives.

In case someone want to be key person, you may change with me.

But be sure you can finish those preparations. Its an honour to serve you brothers!
