I actually tried mead for the first time not so long ago. Fantastic, bit sweet for me though. I will stick with beer for now. Bjorr of Drykkja is actually the closest translation to "Drinker of Beer" I could find from Old Norse in the ancient cogitator rune stones (google). I'm not Scandic so I'm not sure how well it works. I am from the far north of Canada though! So I am familiar with the dangers of the Old Ice, the great wolves, and the Bjorn.
