I'll have you know I don't play Fist/Klaw almost EVER. However I do usually have to fight about a half dozen minimum on every single map, and that's before killing people actually matters.
Ok and so what was this about? Who will use JPA/PF(Ignoring the fact this most likely will make them lose)? "Dedicated Players"? Aren't they for good sport? LSM? Aren't they all newbies? Where did they'l get PF with Trinkets on JPA? I asked you reason why Deathmach is no-no? Where it is? You said that TTK of weapons is BS. Do know it basically same with all competive shooters? And they have deathmach. Even tactical onen. And you know where weapons not BS. In MOBAs where character lvl negates weapon offensive power. You want it this way? You chose wrong game. They scrapped MMO long time age this is lobby shooter - so at least it must have what makes lobby shooters a good games.
Deathmatch and CTF don't make games good. End of Story, How they're balanced with the characters, mechanics and map design in those game modes make the difference. But honestly, the only FPS I can think of that was good and had these modes in recent times was TF2. Halo and CoD are shit. But if you want EC to follow the shit and become shit, then by all means, keep begging for it. Just because other games do it doesn't make it good, it doesn't even make it fun, and you're comparing FPS to TPS, which also skews your argument even more. The point I'm making is that this game is not balanced with those game modes in mind at all, and they would work hilariously bad with the games current balancing. The game would have to be overhauled almost entirely to make those generic and frankly boring game modes work, and the current ones we have would stop working. If you want Deathmatch and CTF the YOU chose the wrong game.
They make shooters better - End of Story. If you don't know how to play them - Git Gud. Again bassed on your personal opinion? Also accept that you are not determine of what is what about all that is not shit in this world. Cause I can find you million of people who did like it. Your personal taste is irrelevant, if you don't like mode you can don't play them, like many people do with Fortresses. If this FPS had MMO aspects then maybe, but it is lobby shooter FPS to TPS difference here only camera position. And your point is stupid, game not balanced in all, there is none of game aspects wich are not "hilariously bad with current game balancing" - your argument is invalid. And only because you think of game modes as boring they not become so for rest./ I wanted MMO and I chose the wrong game, but if Devs want to game succeed at least as Lobby Shooter wich they are making currently - that's only option they have.
Instead of arguing whether new modes would improve the game or not, could we all agree that they should make it a thing on UAT and we find out for ourselves? If it does not work it does not have to appear on Live.
Totally agree OP, I hate the short timer. Just encourages zerging but not tactics. I have to say though, I'm also not a fan of ticket systems. I mainly hate it when one side has tickets and the other doesn't because it still doesn't encourage any tactical play but even if both sides had tickets the victory would go to the side that is better at killing, not necessarily the best tactical side. For example you could line up HBs or ACs to just create an impenetrable wall of fire and get your wins that way but it wouldn't be very interesting tactically
