The new UAT weapons look nice. GJ to whomever did the work. The key question remains, will these items simply be ALTERNATE APPEARANCE SKINS and NOT +50 to +100LP Mastercrafted bullshit like we see with all of our “Limited Edition” Relic skins. Or will these new weapons be implemented as overpriced and underpowered “named” weapons? That 500 LP Magnificent Combi Bolter that’s far from being even mediocre, much less magnificent, I’m looking at you! That’s another topic though. Behavior opting to implement Relic skins as Master Crafted items that impact our Loadout costs instead of simply implementing these items as alternate appearance SKINS is the one of the worst implementations of “Limited Edition” content I’ve ever experienced personally. The fact that over half of the Relic skins still have the old extrememely overpriced LP prices that were somehow overlooked during the LP price revamp is another reason why I refuse to play another minute of EC or invest another penny in this game until these types of LP pricing imbalances are addressed. The fact that the beautifully designed Judex Malorum(mad props to the design person!) still costs 400 freaking LP shows a lack of attention to detail by the staff and shows how Behavior could care less about their players that invest in DLC. The fact that this Relic weapon and many others are too expensive to include is most load outs shows how the Limited Edition weapon skin program is/was a total and complete failure. A concept like Relic skins should be an easy win for Behavior and investors alike yet its one of the most egregious examples of how a “sure thing” in EC ends up being totally and utterly screwed up. I dislike being negative and so pessimistic but this issue should have never even been a thing. Relic items should be, should have been, implemented as ALTERNATE APPEARANCE SKINS. That’s what most of your Founders and a vast majority of the community that purchased this content over 4 years ago asked for and expected to see!! “Pay to look cool”. Not “pay more LP for a minuscule increase in weapon stats that are mostly shit and bonus stats that we don’t even want”.
i could have taken them from the game files yes, but I wanted to show the weapon stats also and could not be arsed to write out all the details
but.. the stats are always subject to change until they're on live and even then they're still subject to change..... so it's irrelevant If you were making a point that for instance; the scythe has vastly reduced damage because of the ailment, unlike other weapons with ailment at the same time as it's also LP-priced up because of the ailment........ ..that'd make sense, but just for the sake of the stats on weapons that are effectively just skins of default weapons, then it doesn't really have any value
LSM and CSM get things added to the weapons like scythe blades, blood drops and wing hilts while Eldar and Orks get recolours of existing weapons lol, wish they did me a favour and made the ASC have 125 rounds per mag, or more pen or higher firerate or something instead of a worse modded ASC that can't be modded... Will be honest though that is a pretty cool chainsword
The Eldar one does shoot unique looking rounds with a pretty awesome pink and black particle affect and it does have a unique model even though it is subtle. The top half of it is different.
Thought that was a recolour of the particle effect on the founder ASC with it's weapon model being the founder ASC? Assumed it was a loot box unique weapon considering it can't be modded would have assumed the same for the chainsword tbh if the op posted it on the weapon loadout page with it's stats as well
