  1. Fek devoured the chocolate in a manner fitting someone of his race, bits of chocolate going flying as drool leaked from the edges of his beak. Soon there was nothing left of it and his tongue licked his beak clean, he was going to ask the human for more but then the shuttle came into view. He quickly decided to jump up back into his perch in the tree and pointed his gun at the opened door. With a free hand he quickly activated his eye piece causing the blue light to glow.

Cascabel shook her head at Doranus.
"If you get to call me Mouse, I get to call you Baboon Boy." She smiled back and wiped spittle of her armor. "I like this arrangement, Baboon Boy." She chuckled.

Then the shuttle came by. Cascabel grabbed a magnum and turned on the warthog. She got ready in the driver seat just in case.
"You want me to shut up, brute? Find me something to do."
Her statement was true, she was now focused and not running her mouth. So much.

Of course, he didn't bother getting worked up over the human, now simply giving a grumble of acknowledgement to her words and moving to the Warthog's side, his shield held up semi-formally and the axe kept close; his height at this point was even more abundantly noticable by the group with the warthog to compare to; standing at just under nine feet (utterly average for a Jiralhanae), he towered over even the legendary Spartans (or Demons as Doranus remembered them as), and even being taller than any Sangheili.

Naturally, the sight of the shuttle didn't disturb him, but it was the lack of any... People, who came out. Was this a trick? Or an invitation?? He was not one for waiting unlike practically any other race, and soon made his way towards the shuttle. His body language at the least, would tell anyone that he was not seeking to bash whoever it was that came out, that he was actually in a sociable mood. Shoulders lowered, chest held up, his head high and his grip on his equipment firm enough that they don't fall out of his hands. The shield was just kept in front enough that if someone were to try firing, he'd be able to bring it up in time, hopefully.

With the shuttle coming in to land on the beach and a lack of people coming out to greet the group, Nalya stood out in the open but drew her rifle towards the ship, keeping it ready just in case whoever came out was hostile. Better to draw the weapon in preparation for a fight and not need it rather than end up taking a wound for unpreparedness. "Well, if these are not friends, I think we have something to do."

  5. With all the guns aimed at the shuttle door and the brute approaching, it was understandable that they were a little more hesitant on opening the door. But eventually it did open, showing UNSC personnel with a few crates held in the cargo bay of the shuttle. Inside were also two marines, pointing assault rifles at Doranus. "Halt! State your name and your intentions!" barked one, though before anything could be said there was another gentle hum.

A Pelican dropship swooped down from in front of the sun and fired the nose-mounted chaingun at the shuttle, most of the shots being absorbed by armor but a few piecing into the engine bay and making them shut down, a mini-explosion rocking the craft. "Shit! They're here?" "How the fuck didn't we see them!?" roared the marines as the other crewmen either cowered or drew pistols.

As the Pelican finished the fly-over, a machine gun mounted on the open ramp of the crew bay opened fire, peppering the beach with shots as the VTOL craft lowered itself to the beach, a good number of pirates jumping out and aiming various weapons at the shuttle and the mercs. "Hey! Everyone drop your guns and no one's gotsta get hurt. Give us dem supplies and we're on our way!" yelled one, both marines now aimed at the pirates.

"Our counter offer would be: fuck off!"
Cascabel shouted back and aimed her magnum, the shot left one pirate with a brand new hole in his head. She throttled the gas and got the warthog to a better position, it was easier to shoot people at close range anyway. The marines needed cover so she threw a smoke grenade to create visual cover.
She grabbed her DMR and started at the closest threat, working her way from there.
  7. Fek made a sort of avian growl at the sudden appearance of the pelican and the pirates, his experienced mind told him that being out in the open was not smart. As such he left from his position on the tree for something else, hmm something... he spots long grass and dashed towards it. He quickly dives into it and then proceeds to use his eye piece to target one of the pirates. The one on the machine gun to be specific, a few needles from his rifle finding its way into their head. Though they weren’t real blamite so there wasn’t a satisfying explosion at least he managed to make a real mess of their head.

An exhausted grumble came from the large Brute as the crewmen demanded his name, a roll of his eyes following soon after. Before he could even speak however, the 'pirates' had come, his head turning toward them and a snarl came through his fangs.

The large shield was brought to bear as he made his way into their direction. Doranus let off a roar soon after, but even the fearful could tell he did not let off a mindless noise; it was within his own tongue, however basic it was. A battle cry came through from him, thundering steps as he marched nearer and nearer, his tower shield keeping his massive frame from sight; only an arm covered in titanium plates with a wicked axe, and what looked to be a spiker was seen from behind it.

The arm raised itself soon enough and let off a series of 'coughs', the weapon firing off its deadly payload - superheated and magnetically accelerated metal spikes, as thick as a man's forearm. A dozen of the 'rounds' soared through the air, at least five of which riddled the imbecile that had dared threaten him and those he spoke to.

Another dozen were shot at random, not so much now meant to kill as much as incite terror; they saw what it could do to a man, even in their armour. It was a weapon made to kill Jiralhanae, who were sturdy enough that human weapons had difficulty killing them; something that could kill them, could obliterate a mere human.

"Well, at least we have warriors in spirit." Nalya commented slightly glowingly at the human's choice for hostilities in this scenario, and everyone else following suit. Her rifle snapped up and soon she dropped one of the pirates with a short burst to the chest. She kneeled down (in the open) for a better firing position, and then carried on with her shooting of the various pirates. At the very least she'd try suppressing them, and at most claim a few more kills.

  10. The shots went off in an instant, and even though the pirates were ready they weren't quite ready enough. Four of them were down without firing a shot, and the two marines were only able to fire out a burst from their assault rifles before the gunfight began in earnest. One of the pirates pulled out two SMGs and began to spray fire at the marines while running towards them, keeping them pinned in the shuttle and unable to fire back.

A second, holding a Battle Rifle, aimed towards the smoke profile and began to fire. Thankfully it seemed like he was hitting just the warthog, but he was getting dangerously close a few times, with a salvo hitting the windshield and giving it some heavy cracks.

The third had what looked like an assault rifle of non-UNSC make, taking cover in the pelican. He hd been standing right next to the one that Fek had shot, so he had a good idea of where the Skirmisher was. He would pop out and give a few bursts, ripping up the grass around Fek, while not quite hitting yet.

And finally, there was the chaingun. He had been trained on the brute, but now he had a plethora of options. His first instinct was to target the Elite in the open, but then he saw the Brute and grumbled a little. He began to fire the gun, bullets flying towards Doranus in his armor. The hail of fire would be withering, and would begin to eat at his shield. He would be able to block for some time, but if he tried to move or fire he could easily be torn apart.
