This thread is so good it makes me want to play marines! God I love the angry marines. Well played OP.
After playing a few games yesterday as LSM, I have to give you guys some advice. All of you: COMMUNICATE. I've played entire games where absolutely no one typed anything in the chat. How hard is it to write simple stuff like "transport going to C" or something? If I was playing with guys all from the same guild I'd think they were at least talking on TS, but actually players from large guilds are the ones who communicate the most. Pugs just don't seem to care. Apothecaries: don't play Rambo, heal people who need it, heal people who are going into the fray... Too often have I seen Apoths just letting their brothers bleed out at their own feet without doing anything. Others: seek medical attention when you need it. I mostly played Apoth... and let me tell you, I'm sick of running after you when you have almost no health left and are STILL rushing headlong into enemy lines. There's something seriously wrong when zoggin Orks seek help from Painboys more than Marines do.
A few things I've noticed. If someone else is spawning a vehicle, don't stand on the pad, you will turn into a smear on it's tracks. When the aforementioned vehicle has been spawned, wait a few seconds for the other people to get in, don't drive off like a tw*t by yourself. If you've just gunned one of your teammates down (or watched it happen), res them after the bullets have stopped flying.
This makes me want to write a super detailed Tactical guide...but then I'm like, nah too much time and I'm too lazy.
Noone who should read it would do that anyway.... And those who will can write a guide or two themselves, so dont bother. P.S. Nice sugnature.
