RoF WAS bullshit. Just like Hunters Mark and the now defunct Burny Choppa(yes nerfed as well). SM's are not wiped off the map. Lagging behind for sure, but not dominated. I even see them pushing back CSM now and then. You guys DO play more games than anyone else, your maps change faster and you DO have the biggest influx of 100% legit newbies. Teach them senpai!
For the record I am fine with the 50+ hp, but as you stated earlier ALL races need to be reworked base stat wise which they do. As it stands now the 50+hp in and of itself is too much of a benefit, not to mention they want to reduce Ork headshot damage even more. It's also hard to gauge how much of an impact their body size makes in melee considering with their instant p-attack. Since the RPS rules don't apply with them, it's an entire different approach in melee vs them (like Eldar) so as it stands now they are harder too kill vs melee for me personally then a more equivalent foe, the CSM.
The way you're saying it sounds more like you're salty. The LSM are not underpowered it's the player base that's underpowered mainly in the mental department. Watching LSM and trying to play with them NO ONE plays objectives besides the guilds. They usually run majority jump/ground assaults and ignore tacticals all together. They complain the bolter is UP when really it's one of the best ranged weapons just aim for the head and you can drop someone stupidly fast. Lack of uniqueness ??? This just sounds like you want LSM to be special snowflakes honestly they have just as much uniqueness as other factions. Shit some of their sub factions have unique things about them while literally every other race is copy paste of each other.
Of course it was bullshit, but things like Eldar/Orks breaking the RPS system is an ENTIRE game breaking issue that isn't isolated to a SINGLE unit, from a SINGLE faction having a marginally better melee weapon. Also it's been brought up before but Abaddons Grace FAR exceeds RoF yet.. wheres the fucking nerf for that? But shit lets nerf RoF first patch! Look, for the record have you ever tried to teach and direct newbies? They absolutely refuse to listen, it's pointless I try every single game. Second they've used that garbage argument of LSM has the most new players many, many months ago to make an excuse for not DOING anything about the LSM. Here we are 5-6 months later and yet nothing has changed, same arguments are made, LSM still on bottom. When CSM was dominating LSM since the beginning of the world map introduction, it was the same shit. Get good, learn to communicate, your player base is bigger/newer etc. Again here we are, released for 2+ weeks and STILL being completely dominated, with no hope for any change based on the previous patches. I've stated in the past, if LSM is going to be the "newbie" faction with the worst skilled player base then, where the fuck is the compensation or handicap for that???? Why is this just acceptable? Why is it ok for LSM to be left terrible because we are inherently in-fluxed with the worst/newest players?
AG is a such a non issue. AC kills you in 3 hits anyway, the burn effect from AG is not needed because you already died from the shots anyway. The only thing it does is give you cool looking tracer rounds heh.
Shield bros and jump assaults of both csm and lsm with power sword are breaking the RPS system as well it's not just orks/eldar. Abaddons grace is op but not nearly as op as RoF and the devs confirmed last week that it's getting beat with the nerf bat so why are you still whining about it ?
Well for whatever reason, I get more headshot kill/points against CSM then Orks. Not Eldar of course, that's very rare.
Since when Something broken justify the same other things to be broken? What the hell of a logic is that? If it's broken, you fix it.
Because I'm tired of claims with no results, they said it so where is it? it means NOTHING until it actually happens, I've heard thousands of empty claims and promises with zero results here plenty of times as I'm sure you have. No one said JPA don't need tweaking. In fact it's been brought up thousands of times throughout the months that goes back to my point of the devs NOT listening and it should have been addressed back in May.
Maybe for an Ork, but it kills me in 1-2 hits. But that's fine right? If RoF kills in two hits from MELEE people bitch for days. If AG a RANGED, dominating gun does it, who gives a fuck, right?
