Neither did I, but admitedly the whole prospect of a darker fairy tail featuring a teddy bear and brutal violence has certainly left it to remain memorable. Music didn´t seem bad either. There´s probably more works which we´re not blatantly familiar with. But I trust it´ll work out.
This is a pretty big deal for me. I'm not even really interested in the music since the only sound I *should* be hearing 70% of the time is Bolters and the EQV firing, and explosions and chain weapons revving. But when there is a rare quiet moment to reflect the soundtrack needs to be there and it needs to work.
Hey guys! I'm glad people are interested in the audio for this game early on! We're all super excited to work on Eternal Crusade! We'll have more info in the coming months as the game production ramps up. For now, I can tell you that, as with all Behaviour productions, I'll be the audio director for the title. Right now we have Mathieu Lavoie as sound designer, doing a lot of the ground floor work on selecting an audio engine, making sure we spec all our requirements so that the programmers can put that in their schedules. Later on we'll have additional people come in from our audio team. Philippe Charron (who's just finished Batman: Arkham Origins at Warner and has just returned to BHVR) will definitely be involved at some point. As for music, I'm not ready to talk about our composer because we need to wrap up all the details. We held an extensive audition process, and this guy really impressed us with his demo. All will be revealed in due time. Cheers to all the fans who care about audio! JF
Thanks for the update. Remember to get your forum account changed to developer status. Will you be taking influence from any previous 40K games (Other than Space Marine) in the development of sound assets? For example, Dawn of War 2 with its excellent sound quality.
