So, which craftworld?

  1. Ulthwe

    42.7%
  2. Iyanden

    19.1%
  3. Biel-tan

    25.0%
  4. Alaitoc

    13.2%
  1. Am I the only one who feels just a little disappointed we have Alaitoc and no Rangers?

We don't have Alaitoc...this thread's just really old. We have Saim-Hann instead.

    Source.

Don't get me wrong though; if you backtrack through the Eldar forums, you'll find plenty of Eldar lamenting over the loss of our Outcasts, myself included.

Thanks for the link! I have to admit that I lost the track of this post, and now I reread it I have mixed feelings toward the game :( I mean, I'm still in love with it, but I think the Devs taken out too much character choices from the start, and I do miss the outcasts and other vital forces of the Children of the Stars. For example, my other favourite the Warp Spiders, of course there are the Dire Avengers, but I cannot place the Wraithguard anywhere in my head. I mean, in RTS or tabletop of course I can appreciate the raw power of a Wraithguard but I cannot imagine myself as a tired old soul placed in a cold machine made of wraithbone :(
Maybe its the fault of the fact that I'm a girl and I love to RP with my characters, maybe too less information... don't know. I know the males are not interested in the 'whines" of the females, but I like to belong somehow to my toon, and just running around doing some FPS is not for me or more like I'm not always desiring this way of playtime (still I like to kick some ass :D ).

Sorry for the long post and for the tears, I don't meant to get some spotlight to change the game, I just wanted to share my thoughts about this :)

Quoting the link: Characters such as Dark Reapers, Dire Avengers, Wraithguards and Warlocks feature in the game, but the official class roster has not been announced yet.

They aren't done and most of the comments the devs have left us consistently state that they wish to include units such as Rangers later, though likely not at launch because they are being wary of implementing stealth and sniper units.

Also, it has been clear that all armies will have a jump unit. We still don't have a jump unit such as a Hawk or a Spider and the devs have been clear with us that they haven't completely worked that out yet. This is evidence that more classes are coming. It is also established that a fifth craftworld will be added based on community preferences, and Alaitoc is definitely in the lead there. So Alaitoc may still come to the game.

Of course, EC might just fail outright and all of these discussions are pointless and we don't know it yet. It happened to Dark Millennium Online, and it could happen here.

Let's not invest all our hopes or disappointments in this game just yet. This baseball game hasn't started yet....hell, baseball games haven't even been invented yet to carry the metaphor forward.

In short, don't fret, as there's nothing to fret over yet!

I think devs also said that Eldar will be last faction to be finished and polished. So we must keep heed up high and wait for news

so haaaard. dunno how to pick a craftworld... how do you guys do it? i had comparably a much easier decision to make for chaos and imperium. orks i didn't read up things yet, but it seems ok-ish for me. but its totally a nightmare with the eldar..

I suggest you pick a Craftworld that suits your fighting style.

Ulthwe = Psychic might and subterfuge. (Mage)
Iyanden = Vehicles like Wraitguards and Wraithlords, I guess? (Engineer)
Biel-Tan = Blatant fighting. (Gotta love the Swordwind.) (Warrior)
Alaitoc = Death from afar-ish. (Snipers, derp) (Ranger)
Saim-Hann = Speed and wild fighting tactics. (Rogue)

    Hope this helps. :D

I would love to play elder but I'm not sure what the class choices are going to be like yet its still kind of unclear as they have all kinds of classes in the trailer but it would be cool to go Ulthwe and be a warlock or a farseer

They didn't announce all the available classes at launch, they just confirmed warlock, dark reaper, dire avengers and wraithguards, they have mentioned farseer as hero class but it's not "official", the aspect warriors not available at launch will be released later.
