Well, If they implement the Outcasts as a Class, we won't need any Mymearans because, you know... Corsairs act on their own behalf
Wasn't Mymeara extremely puritan and refusing to cooperate with nearly any other eldar? I thought they liked Alaitoc because of the similar focus on the paths. The corsairs were Alaitoc's idea iirc, as they have a lot of outcasts and thus likely a lot of corsairs come from Alaitoc originally.
Not, unless Eldar become completely Unprofitable to GW. So...nope, man. Not in this millenium. The point is that Aspect Warriors have their own colours andd Outcasts use camoflage. Sooo... only Seers differ in colour scemes. Why bother if craftworlds differ only in Lore...
I agree that Eldar aren't going to disappear anytime soon but The Dark Prince is waiting... (personally I play DE irl so I hope Slaanesh waits for a few more millenniums)
Well, IF GW will move plot forwards we might see the re-forging of Anaris and Khaine shards fusion, Rise of Ynneyad and Warp genocidal campaign with Emperor re-born. And R'varnaPocalypse
Having spent my lore reading time on stricktly astartes subject matter, i have absolutely no idea what you just said lol. Are there any novels or short stories anyone can recommend for me? Lexicanum isnt cutting it, i need a real story because my feels are 0% for the Eldar at this point. Same with Dark Eldar, any recommendations?
Not much on the Eldar. The most renown ones are "Path of blahblahbla" that came out a ccouple years ago. Prmitive, but still good. Thorpe knows his craft well. Some side-info on Eldar can be found in C.S.Goto's books. Ordo Xenos series and his awful book on Kaelor craftworld. Also I can definitely recall an extremely awesome Rogue-trader era book called Farseer or something like that... And some info is in Inquisition Trilogy. Outdated a bit, I presume... And yeah, Eldar Codex.
Touching on Warpman's point. All of the Codices give a solid background for major lore. As he mentioned: Path of the Warrior/Seer/Outcast, follow three craftworlders (I advise reading them in that order, as that's how they're designed) and they do a good job of showing how the craftworld Eldar culture works. Path of the Renegade goes Dark Eldar if that's your taste Also as he mentioned, the old 'Inquisitor' trilogy is just good for lore in general and touches major Eldar lore here and there. The old novel 'Farseer' is fun, and follows a has-been rogue trader as things get interesting. It's the list we've been giving everyone everywhere...we need to make handouts Eldar Codices: 2nd Ed., 3rd Ed, 4th Ed. and/or 6th Ed. Path of the ----- (Warrior, Seer, Outcast, Renegade) Farseer Inquisitor -Draco -Harlequin -Chaos Child <- edit: not good or much eldar involvement by my knowledge
