So when is Ace Dakka going to get its much deserved nerf? Soon I would Suggest.

  1. With the way things are going right now, more suppression can only be a good thing in terms of countering the copious dakka fielded by all factions. In terms of unfried larger fish though, I support the cure Stalker Bolter. Not trying to derail, just surprised that anyone has Orks in the firing line for nerfs with that shit and Rambo Apocs running roughshod.

If you want suppression. Go for Dakka Deffguns of Big Shootas. The Ace Dakka shouldn't have it.

Not trying to derail, but you are doing a good job of it.

Orks already have three suppression weapons. They don't need a fourth in the Ace Dakka.

They honestly don't need the Plasma Deffgun having suppression either but that's a whole other conversation. As long as their weapons remain as accurate as they are, and they are accurate don't make any doubt about it. They should stop getting so many bonuses that supposedly counteract their "Terrible Accuracy".

On a shot by shot basis Ork weapons are more inaccurate than other factions guns, but since they have far more ammo and shoot far faster that inaccuracy is nothing more than smoke.

Why not just make it so it overheats quicker like they did to the HB? maybe reduce its ammo as well. Fact it does 600DPS ( i think) with 350 rounds of ammo, and takes forever to heat up is very funny, when playing it of course lol :OrkMoon::OrkGoff:

No, just remove its suppression. What is so scary about it? Is it because Orkz aren't getting to dictate their own potential nerfs?

Ace Dakka losses suppression. It has been explained that they have 3 other weapons that has suppression. Ace Dakka is an Autocannon with suppression.

I feel I need to stress this in bold letters so people can understand properly so I will.

Everyone hated on the Autocannon, yet the Ace Dakka is an Autocannon with the addition of suppression. So where is the urgency in getting it nerfed from the same people who wanted the Autocannon nerfed?

Is it because a majority of those same people that wanted the Autocannon nerfed are in fact Ork players? I don't know, but it's starting to look that way. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  6. I haven't really played Orks much honestly so perhaps I was fooled by the idea of their weapons being less accurate, it certainly seemed the case when fighting them, but honestly I would be totally fine with supression being built in to heavy weapons at varying levels of severity, especially the vehicle versions. To be fair though, this is likely just something the devs forgot to take from the Ace Dakka when they forgot the game wasn't LSM vs CSM.

And yeah, I shouldn't have mentioned it. I'm tired and bitter.

Take away suppresion but add about 50% more amko to some of these guns. Plasma deffgun is especially bad about ammo usage.

Why can't it just be a flat nerf? lol

Orks think this is some sort of give/take thing. Eldar were the same way any time new stuff was suggested for other factions.

The Ace Dakka pays for its tiny suppression with 10 less damage and more recoil than the autocannon, plus it costs more. Also @RemoSupremo? 60 kills with your eyes closed? You're not an individual to take seriously. (And hey, give and take is better than what you get from the other factions. Look at LSM, it's all buff buff, and that's all they get, no give and take with boltguns or sniper bolters there).

From what I remember, people have specifically targeted Abbadon's Grace, filing it under the "autocannon" label. While it is technically accurate, people seem to think that a (now) tiny fire DOT is game breaking. Actually, I can remember 3 entire times that someone died from the fire DOT on my weapon- 3. 3 people out of hundreds I've killed died because they had a sliver of health, got behind cover and roasted to death. 2 Marines and an Ork. Everyone else, I just plugged another round into and killed them like everyone else.

As someone who uses Abbadon's Grace a LOT, it pales in sheer potential to other heavy weapons available. Is the suppression on a weapon really a problem? Would you be less likely to be killed? Sounds like complaining about the fire DOT all over again.

I'm not for or against it, it just seems there are more productive areas to focus time on.
