So what happened with Orks?

Come now, I doubt an Ork has ever seen a mag or considered the difference

@Xi0 @Saeritan Ah, thank you for that. I'll bow to superior Eldar knowledge. Though, you can get two melta bombs as opposed to the single one everyone else gets.

Your also the only faction with any AV on a default load-out though. I'm not saying that's OP, I understand how Aspect Warriors as classes work, even if it's not optimized by making it yourself to be the most effective.

And given the current superioriry (Pending Gravgun damage nerf) Meltas do to vehicles it's not so bad. Ork trukks are also pretty flimsy, you notice Heavy Bolters damaging them.

The difference between a melta bomb / super stikk bomb on an Eldar tank and two Eldar melta bombs on anyone else's tank is ~20% of the tank's hp, at the cost of 240 LP extra.

The default AV load out is something that I've argued every faction should have since launch.

Finally, heavy bolters damage every vehicle in the game, not just Trukks. As far as I know Trukks are just as durable as a Rhino, and much, much more durable than a Wave Serpent.
  4. I find completely ridiculous there is LSM complaining about the rokkit launcher while on their side there is the Plasma Cannon.

If a LSM is farming my spawn point with a AOE sniper rifle with mortar mode then it's "a support weapon", but if I OHK a marine after 10 failed attempts then it's OP?

Are we really diacussing this?! Is this serious?! There are far most imbalanced things to look at. JPA are completely out of control for instance.

@Saeritan Much like i see Eldar doing with Wave Serpents, we have to keep a driver in our trukk to keep driving it around as it's far too fragile to be left in one spot, given the wide breadth of AV we're often against with LSM and CSM. As well as Eldar with their Melta.

That wont stop the OP talk sounds like. Cause those values are the values that ork players already down people at (outside the ragdoll vs down one) all this will do is allow an apoth nade to invalidate a rokkit outside direct hits (unless they take away that shots ability to ragdoll).

So the people using the rokkits well are still gonna cause outcries of nerf and the non self healing fire and forget healing factions will get hit harder than the lsm faction.

I'd say less teamkills will occur less often but most of those are usually direct hits.

Tbh I think orks are fine vs eldar grav tanks. The rokkit isnt the go to vs them imo. Should be using a kannon from an elevated position. Since they uave so much less hp other faction long range weapons are much more viable against them. FD with double bomb is the go to for eldar because everyone elses transports are so much more immobile.

  8. PC has been horribly OP for about a year, no doubt. We're finally seeing relief on that front. Though keep in mind, the PC is available on a Devastator/Havoc class. You have 1 role and basically you're a one trick pony on a Loota/Devastator/Havoc with Cannon or Plasmacannon.

Surely we're not going to debate the fact that a Tactical/Shoota class is much more capable, agile and versatile in close quarters than a Loota/Devastator class, and they have access to Meltabombs and they can capture objectives. So even the current nerfed(though still deadly) PC being available on a Tactical/Traitor marine.. I dare say that would be pretty OP.

    Veteran classes for you. :)
And to the Rokkits: Sometimes you dodge them, sometimes you don't, sometimes lag gets you, sometimes it doesn't. While I accept that there are one-hit weapons in the game, they should be behind some kind of skillwall. And that is done step by step. The only really strong side of the Rokkits is that most fights take place in confined spaces, where the weaknesses of the Rokkits don't come into play all that much, but that's it. Especially since the cap class uses it and the cap points are in the smallest rooms that could be found.

It's the other way around. It's easier to use in open terrain, too many ways to kill yourself, or hit obstacles inside. Way too much cover there, less time to charge up too as you see enemies coming from far less of a distance.
