I don't know about the lot of you, but I don't really want Orks to be the faction that's tough, but basically bring nothing else to the table. I do enjoy giving Marines fits with how tough I am, but I would kind of really want weapons that are actually not completely impractical except at point blank ranges. I love the Rokkit Launcha, but it takes a lot of skill and practice to utilize in any meaningful way. Good luck on hitting anything beyond 8m, and even then, more than once I've managed to fire at a group of 3-5 Marines inside of 8m, and only managed to kill the only friendly in the area. Didn't even scratch the paint on their armour. If you get killed at any reasonable range by a Rokkit, the Ork is probably more surprised than you are, since they literally have to peg you in the damn face with a rokkit that has a will of its own and a short attention span. There's also the charge time, which requires you to have very precise timing of when to let loose. Most of the time, you'll just end up blowing yourself or allies up with it. For me, the Rokkit Launcha is basically the only weapon in my arsenal that can kill a Marine fast enough that he can't just RMB spam me to death with pretty much anything, since Marines are apparently better at Orks in melee for "reasons." They swing faster, hit harder, and lunge further. If we lose effectiveness with the Rokkit Launcha, we need a buff somewhere else to compensate. You can't just nerf all of our weapons, our melee, and give us an extra bolt round of health to make up for it.
It's just a shame your allies aren't. From a Klaw user who, along with another was killed by a Kannon while punching a vindicator to death. Stahp please.
Tbf if you hear someone shooting it you should be the one to back off. If it is a random single shot they dont always see you.
No, based on where he fired from I'm certain saw me hitting it and he definitely started firing after I had attacked the vindicator. Noobs don't give a damn.
