So What Do We Do If No One Plays Against Us?

That can happen to most if not all classes in the game though...

Well, the other factions/classes won't get killed from one clip of a bolt pistol, while, again, over 50% of the Eldar's classes, who have 80 toughness, will die from a single clip of a bolt pistol, if not less. Meanwhile the Eldar's pistol is just garbage, comparably. Not to mention the Eldar having the highest fire rates, but both of the DA's weapons having the longest reload times. (All pistols have the same reload time, but the Eldar pistol loses accuracy very fast, and runs out of ammo over twice as fast as the bolt pistol, even with the +10 magazine size.) Point being even the SM's pistol is far superior to the Eldar, and they get new shiny things to drool over, while the Eldar get dusty and scratched 'armor' to strap onto their latex suits.

Im literally laughing at the idea of an anti-Eldar conspiracy. You definitely didn't get that idea from me, so I'm not sure where you got it. The devs are slow to develop, and balance, that's it. It's a lot if work.. No anti-Eldar conspiracy... From the devs certainly.....

But from a certain portion of the LSM community has repeatedly stated to boycott all eldar games, but actions are very telling right now, that they were lying - the Eldar play, and play almost exclusively against the race that was loudest in proclaiming que dodging and whining.

But now that's literally all we fight. LSMs. And foriegn fighters with Grav guns. It's to be expected. It'll be nice for the "new and shiney" to lose its luster and to fight Orks atm.

Sadly, I feel as though right now the main reason why there aren't matches for Eldar fighting CSMs and Orks is because nobody is queuing for them, simply because there's no match to be found. It's a symptom of a super small community. Neither side queues specifically against each other because either they're already fighting LSMs, or they're suffering through long que times.. And eventually lead to a LSM match anyway, so doing so is the equivalent of twittling of the thumbs.

I'm sure campaign system will help alleviate the issue as it's going to be faction x vs Eldar, so if the faction that is facing Eldar want to forfiet their games I'm ok with that, as it means Eldar will win that weeks event for loot / campaign req.

So I'm sure there will be threads created about how pissed they are that they can't avoid Eldar or lose the loot.

Depends of the quality of said loot:p.

I personally despise fighting against Eldar, mostly because I can't reliably hit them (too fast/pings between 170-250 at the moment) and their vehicles on every map except fortress maps prior to gate destruction are an atrocity. Eldar are my least favourite faction to fight against, simply because they are a pain in the arse one and all. The idea LSM favour fighting Eldar at the moment is ludicrous at best.

However, I would never boycot fighting them. Sure, the idea has been voiced on the forums by some, but I wouldn't call that a general trend. There are pricks and lame gaming elements in every faction, why should I single one out? The only thing I do in fact boycot are grav weapons. I would rather have a chance against another faction without needing a weapon role-tailored to beat them. Nobody asked for that trash, and I can think of many an LSM player who'd rather see an overworked stalker boltgun and specialized ammunition. Doesn't help that the game keeps spamming me with grav weapon mods in my 30k boxes, while I can't purchase lower boxes anymore that they'd belong into. Drives me fucking mad.

Well, here are some news for you: it was clear from the get-go that LSM would be the most numerous faction. You don't need to be a far seer for that insight. What happens when one of four factions makes up the bulk of the player base is, unsurprisingly, that the three other factions will mostly face the most numerous faction.

More importantly, however: I must admire the brain acrobatics not only in this thread, but the forums in general. When LSM were complaning about overperforming Eldar (and CSM, to a degree) elements, there was much scoffing, wrinkling of noses and shouts to git gud. The LSM were the noob faction, and should learn to play before crying bloody murder.
But now that Eldar seem to be facing mostly LSM, and sometimes even get a bloody nose, it's the OP new weapons, right? There's a new patch that altered game elements to their detriment, and LSM happily abuse the living hell out of it. Something along those lines. Can't be anything else, of course.

Eldar players can pat themselves on the back all they want about their perceived higher skill ceiling or better player base in general. As the balancing progresses, there will be times when game elements shift in favour of one faction or another. It has happened in this game before. I even read not three weeks ago on this very forum that LSM were pretty haughty when the Eldar were first introduced, and that all the gloating in their direction in more recent times was well deserved.

As long as players feel belittled, there will be schadenfreude when their faction is afloat again. I just ask that you keep it to a bare minimum if you are unable to keep it to yourself. If I can do it, you can do it.

Actually... craftworlds still fight each other now. Some of them outright HATE each other.

It would be interesting, which side would a Phoenix Lord Fight on or would he/she pull up a seat next to the Death Jesters, reach for the popcorn and join in the chuckles from the grandstands?

Oh I think you might want to try grabbing a note pad and marking down the number of GG you get at the end of a match vs Eldar regardless of the outcome vs the number of tears from the Eldar players and compare it to the bullshit some of the Marine players are throwing down back at us. The Eldar teams currently seem to be taking things more tolerantly than the poison and vulgar remarks fired back at us from the LSMs. Even the Chaos players are nicer. The Orks are the best of all factions in being likeable.

But the Marines are just vile at the moment with every excuse under the sun for their right to be assholes.

Honestly, any PL who doesn't have connections to any one Craftworld (Looking at you Maugan, yes we all know of your soft spot for Altansar.) would most likely try to broker a truce. I believe, though none of the PL really have fleshed out personalities.

Agreed its predominently LSM vs Eldar and the win rates are 50/50 at the moment. Seems to be only the more skilled LSM players on at the moment and its a fun challenge.
