I just played a game against SM and throughout the match we had at least 5 more players, at some points more, and we lost. SM didn't play particularly well, they didn't have to. Singular marines were killing groups of 3 or more Orks, alone. Tacticals were tearing through Shoota boys in droves with their pin-point accurate Bolters, our vehicles were destroyed in seconds by Melta (still) and swords killed at least 3 or 4 Orks before finally falling (if they fell at all).

It is becoming pretty apparent that we are completely broken at the moment, we have no chance to compete in the current JPA Sword spam, Plasma and Melta meta. Certainly against marines at least.

Has anyone stopped playing Orks since we became absolute shit, because I'm a couple of games away.

Why is no-one screaming about this? Does anyone actually enjoy playing as an Ork at the moment?

You won't get a game as an Ork soon, there has been a noticeable drop in Ork players and it continues to fall.

If you enjoy being the other factions' whipping post fair enough, but that aint my idea of fun and given that the faction is haemorrhaging players I'm guessing it's not others' idea of fun either.

I think you're grossly over exaggerating, Eternal Crusade is fine and has been for the last few months, sure there may be some slight balancing problems but the Devs are working on ways to nerf the Plasma Deffgun among other things.

As for the rapidly declining playerbase I don't think that's much of a problem really, we don't necessarily need more than 300 members on weekdays or over 700 on weekends, what we have at the moment is a nice stable community in the making and in a few months when we have more content they will all simply come back.

Remember to have faith in bE, they are literally the only studio out there without a marketing firewall and with a crystal clear line of communication between the community and the team.

I tend to play far less. I lose about 2/3 of the time. Though from last twitch they said factions vs faction balance was achieved except for loyalists vs chaos.

When I'm not enjoying myself, I just stop playing.

Orks are still very buggy in my own impression. I was getting more lag this last patch so melee was broken for me.

The most success I have is always with either electrified choppa or kannon deffgun.

Unfortunately. the only maps I happened to be able to play were torias (which I can win), and medusa (which I couldn't vs any faction).

So I have zero idea about the other maps and general feel.

Also, since last patch, most game I joined where in their last 5 minutes, with orks outnumbered by 15-33%...

The matchmaking was so bad that's what actually made me quit again.

In all honesty, I can't even say how well ork can perform in the current meta, because I can't even get a single game with equal number of players that I join from the start and I can't get any other map than medusa and torias

That's one of the worst melee weapons we have, dude. I mean, it isn't as bad as your usual axe, which really serves no purpose, in my opinion, but still. Try choppa or rodeo dakka. They are fun, easy to use and really effective at krumpin gitz.

Dude I'm on about the declining number of Ork players specifically, since we are now gimped lots of people have left to play other factions.

I have faith in bE, in fact many on here have called me a "fanboy" or "white knight". I'm just disappointed that Orks can't compete in the current meta. It's not an enjoyable experience for me as it is now and I play games to have fun so....

Well I think the Ork players will all come back when they have a shiny battle wagon and some Mega Armoured Nobs to play as

And if they don't there are three other races which is more than enough for the game to be successful when it comes to keeping an active global playerbase.

Well I think we as well renown Ork players should take the advice that every other faction was given and that is basically to git gud. I also kinda don't really believe you can be considered a white knight or a fanboyto be honest this thread and the context is rather pessimistic and needlessly negative, I mean I fully expect bE with their forests of data, metrics and experience would eventually sort all of this out without the need for complaint from the Ork community

Well that's interesting because I've lost all games bar one.

This is kinda irrespective to me anyway, it isn't so much about winning or losing as it is about having fun. The game is not fun when other players can just pick a sword and a jetpack and RMB their way to victory. The game is not fun when I know that I hit an enemy with my Klaw but for whatever reason it didn't register. The game is not fun when Doks have to aim at a downed lads' feet to get em up. The game is not fun when swords ignore every second clang and can charge attack extremely fast. The game is not fun when a single marine can take out 2-3 Orks easily.

Circlejerk? I don't think I've ever seen an Ork circlejerk on these forums.

We need a buff and we need to highlight to the devs where we are bugged or just unable to compete.

Here's a few things I've found problematic recently;

• Headshots ruin our aim and are too easy for other factions to get on us. This weakens our ranged ability drastically.
• We can't compete with swords in the RPS system.
• Our AV is too limited and too weak.
• Doks' healing syringe aim is way off and extremely difficult to use.
• A forceful breeze to the back instantly downs us.
• Klaws are a complete mess. Hit registration is off and they cannot use strong attack in a duel.
• Our loadout options encourage us to stack toughness, this is pointless in the current meta.
