Look at this, open it in a new tab, zoom in on places, look at the details and gape in awe at this awesome.
It's just the whole attitude that this game needs to be 100% lore accurate. In-fact, even as going so far to convince the Devs to insert a random name generator and disallow both the ability to name your own character and (Even after GW said it was okay, that's right, GW allowed us the freedom to do something and the fans just rejected it) the use of actual chapters names as Strike-forces because 'It would break immersion' I have been a member of the DoW2 community, the SM community and I've never came across people on a wh40k forum so anal that everything needs to be 100% perfect. Seriously, this is not a Codex or whatever, this is supposed to be fun and enjoyable to play and some of the decisions people are crusading for are going to hurt the game when it comes to trying to attract non-wh40k fans. I now understand why some game developers just don't take on board what most of their fans want. We have to realise this game is just not for us. We're going to have Space Marines with silly names and we're going to get trolls and such. For this game to survive we need to branch out not just to the fans but to gamers as a whole. I just feel after looking at so many threads with people doing this like I just want to scream at them and tell them to go sit in the corner facing the wall. Seriously though, I used to be a member on the old Black Library forums and even then people understood the value of artistic license when making a story enjoyable to read. This is not a Warhammer 40,000 alternative reality simulator.
I know I think people are being way to critical and need to lighten the fuck up if their standards are so high the game will fail for them
