This is simply an indirect method because he is shy to talking to girls. I am simply trying to help him do so in a more comfortable manor. Also, it is rather easy to actually cover it up should it fail. I mean really easy.

I dunno. I'm leaning towards the grow a pair and ask her out to dinner/coffee. Because, if you like someone enough, you should be able to approach them. Also, I can't speak for other women, but I prefer a man who knows what he wants.
