    but...can you say...RANGED ATTACKS + WINGS + STRAFING TACTICS?!?

    if it has to be melee...i dont have the most recent codexes of any race, nor the rulebook, so i cant say.

    I'd even say lore wise Daemon Princes would probably win, they're a lot LOT more powerful than they're given credit for. Same for Greater Daemons sadly, the summoning of a single Greater Daemon should spell doom for half a system at least.

    Anyways, Daemon Princes can counter wings with wings. Though Hive Tyrants have the advantage at ranged.

    well, i agree, but so are hive tyrants.

    hive tyrants = carnifexes, if not greater than, and carnifexes = thirsters (though thirsters are always a good bit ahead)

    greater daemons > daemon princes USUALLY, so yeah.
