Why no one likes the Tau. Once upon a time there lived a peace loving race known as the Ra'nids, the Ra'nids were a very simple race who loved to busy themselves mining the resources out of planets to feed their ever growing civilisation, however, one day the Ra'nids came across a seemingly barren planet and were greeted by a race known as the Tau. The Tau were known to be a primitive people locked in a deadly civil war but that didn't phase the Ra'nids, they were a happy people. One day a warring tribe leader by the name of Shas' Kup 'o soop entered a Ra'nid mining colony and demanded the Ra'nids give them access to their weapons and resources to help the civil war in their favour, the Ra'nids loved peace so they decided to not involve themselves in a conflict that was not their own, this angered Kup'O Soop and he left the colony with his diplomats... The day after began like any day, the workers (Known as Gaunts) entered the mining tunnels to dig for resources but they were attacked by savage Tuna warriors of the Tau race. The Ra'nids found the death of so many brave Gaunts to be an act of war. Feeling betrayed, the Ra'nids decided to enact their emergency government and pledged to destroy all un-trust worthy aliens they could find. The peace loving Ra'nids were gone. This was the age of the Tyranids .
