Was talking more bout the necrons enslaving other races. The necrontyr were jealous of the old ones immortality and idk how much of this part is true but according to arch the old ones didnt give the necrons the cure to solve the whole genes messed up due to killer radioactive sun even tho they had the cure (not hard to see why the eldar are so stuck up if the old ones where like this)
I always thought the part about the old ones refusing the necrontyr the secrets to immortal life was true, but last I checked lexicanum it said that the Necrons attacked the old ones to preserve their empire from civil war.
Yes but you have to remember one of the key reasons they got back together from the brink of civil war was their hate of the old ones for 1) not sareing immoriblity 2) for the old ones not giving them to cure to the constant pains and damged genes

Yeah, it seems out of turn for the Old Ones, masters of the secrets of life, to not just help the necrontyr out of hand, the Old Ones could seed the Galaxy with other life but not help their dying neighbors?
