Hey again, guys... You um... you remember how I was talking about how I think humanity should be wiped out to preserve everything else? Erm, well, I remember how you guys reacted, you did things like call me evil and insist that I couldn't be human, and I kinda reacted to that by insisting that I was doing the right thing? Well, it's been a while, and tonight I happened upon some TV Tropes articles that shook me pretty hard. They were describing the kind of character who would do something like kill all humans to save the rest of the planet, in fact that was one of the literal examples provided of that kind of character. As I kept reading, it described me pretty well. It held a mirror up to me, and I started to see what I am. The two Tropes that apply the most are Well-Intentioned Extremist, and No Place For Me There, if you want to look them up. It's a little scary to be facing how evil I've become. And on the one hand, I don't want to be evil. On the other, I don't think I'm wrong, I still think I'm in the right. It's at least comforting to know that I will never be in a position to make it happen.
