Never played any tabletop before. Do have the mentality if it looks cool, do it. I have shit left over from my Terminator Lord and I'm going to add that to normal Terminators just because. Think there is some Lightning Claws. Don't know if I said here's my Terminators if someone would scream about it not being abiding in the rules... I go with the rule, if it looks cool, do it.

Just remember that the new ruleset is about to drop in a month or so's time, especially as it could nerf these starter units. As for the Eldar starter set, well you do get a Tank. And it's a Fireprism at that. What you could do is look at any Independent gaming store near you, as they sometimes have bits trays and/or sell partial sprues. Some even buy and resell other peoples armies so you could get a bargain there. It may be an idea to look at the Shadow Wars: Armageddon rules as they are free and you could get playing a Kill Team pretty quickly.
