    Squats are still Canon! (Human/Eldar hybrids aren't though. But Eldar/Genestealer hybrids are!)
    They've just not got a current Codex or up to date background and army list.

    They could be like Vulcans and instead of Iron use Copper or some other element to bind oxygen to their blood cells. This would change the colour of their blood.


    Meanwhile.....

    Yes.
    But Copper isn't the only oxidising element they could use. So their blood can be a different colour to Red or Green.
