If that's what you took from my explanation then you are missing a very big point. The campaign to Leave the EU literally said that if they lost it would not be the end, and they'd still continue to campaign for their cause. The Remain supporters, who actually did lose, continue to campaign for their cause despite the winning Leave side telling them to shut up! Plus, until the two-year long process of Leaving is complete the UK can freely change its collective mind and choose to Remain in the EU. Which means the Leave supporter assertions that it is too late, and nothing can be done about it, is patently untrue. Whether or not it is right to hold another Referendum on this matter is an entirely different thing to opposing people campaigning for one. Especially when the opposition comes from people who, if the roles were reversed, would do exactly the same thing in that position.
