  4. I'm sorry but can you tell me how European Dragons are related to the real-world Komodo?

From what I know most of the lore for Dragons in Europe is drawn from Greek and Near-East mythology.
And in Greek Mythology most Dragons were forms of Serpents. One exception being the Khimera, which was a combination of Goat, Lion, and Snake.

And the Near-East mythology has deities as Dragons, like Tiamat.

And it doesn't seem to be related to the canine-esque shape of Medieval European Dragons.

As for Griffins, their name is derived from Greek, and does explain the how they likely entered into Greek mythologies. But it wouldn't explain appearances in pre-Mycenaen cultures.
  5. There's been an adaption of the songs from The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, to fit Star Wars: A New Hope.

Here's the first two songs; Princess Leia's Stolen Death Star Plans and With Illicit Help From Your Friends.

Earliest form of a dragon is the Serpent of Christian/Judaic religion, at least for most of the West.
Yeah, Tiamat probably helped with the concept of wings, but that's not really a Western dragon, now is it? Hell, Marduk has wings, would you call him an angel?
The Chimera is hardly a dragon.

Sorry, should I call them "Monitor Lizards" rather than Komodo Dragons? Does that help you see the similarities and understand how a knight might have come across one, slew it, and went "Holy shit, I killed a dragon" and thus give rise to the notion of a quadruped lizard-like creature?
  7. "Lundgren received a degree in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in the early 1980s and a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney in 1982. He holds the rank of 3rd dan black belt in Kyokushin karate and was European champion in 1980-81. While in Sydney, he became a bodyguard for Jamaican singer Grace Jones and began a relationship with her. He received a Fulbright scholarship to MIT and moved to Boston. Jones convinced him to leave the university and move to New York City to be with her and begin acting, where, after a short stint as a model and bouncer at the Manhattan nightclub The Limelight, Lundgren got a small debut role as a KGB henchman in the James Bond film A View to a Kill, in which Jones starred."
    Seems about right.
