Also, Corax already did this. The Raptors were fine and still a thing until the Alpha Legion came along.
    Caentyr and Calistian_Zathos like this.
  2. Yeah, all he had to do was ask Big E's permission
    Wraithling likes this.
  3. These Super Space Marines ("Guillimarines" as I've known them) will also get a new mark of power armour.
    Mk X.

    And we've already seen them.
They're True-Scale models with Sigmarite kneepads.
  4. Apparently he's seeking to clone the Emperor and then have this 'knock-off' become a Daemon Prince so he can ride on its coattails.

Well Fabius has been working since during the Great Crusade if you want to argue it with his work during/after Laer which did have some successes with increased fatigue rates for the Emperor's Children.

If it came out that Corax was fucking around with the Emperor's Designs many would be appalled, even if Corax could prove Big E sanctioned these changes it'd still cause a massive outcry and make the Raven Guard be looked upon as inferiors and not true Astartes.

Well I think it was insane. That kinda means it was a failure but in all honesty it could just have been in a state of pure confusions although it didn't recognise those it was fighting. It might have recognised Abaddon at the end buy I haven't got my copy of Talon of Horus with me so I can't check =/

False, Black Legion at this time wasn't even close to a Legion sized force.

They had the Sons of Horus Terminators which granted is a large force, some World Eaters, Thousand Sons and an Emperor's Child. That is about it.

The main boon on their side was the Black Legion's flagship was there and they only really defeated Fabius's forces by flying I think a Strike Cruiser into the planet. Which in itself was pretty ballsy move.

When the Horus Clone faced Abaddon there was maybe six or seven Astartes, a Daemon Familiar and I think a Dark Eldar.

For a Primarch in battle plate that'd be well... A laughable fight if that was a real Primarch.

Lorgar Pre-Heresy could have won that and he wasn't even a fighter back then and was arguably the weakest of the Primarchs at that time.

Fabius has shed his former allegiance to the Emperor's Children. He sees everyone as needing him to succeed not him needing a Legion to belong to.

Well Fabius has Space Cancer which causes his death every year or so and clones himself to keep going. Something like that anyway.

Well Angel Exterminatus has Fabius play a role, there is his book which I can't remember the name of and I haven't read yet which is about Fabius in general, he appears in Fulgrim at odd times and there are some short stories he's in like I think the Reflection Crack'd and there is a couple others that I can't remember.

    Depends on your view really...

Fabius is seen by Chaos and Loyalist as a madman who does questionable shit, cloning is a taboo to both sides.

Though Fabius sees it as his mission or even destiny as an Emperor's Child to improve upon the Emperor's Design for the Astartes.

He did muse I think that he'd be able to create Astartes powerful enough to punch through walls or Rhinos.

Could have just been musing about the possibilities.

Obsession with being as close to the Emperor as possible but never being able to be on the Emperor's level because the Emperor is Human perfection personified.

Well the early III Legion did save his life so they kinda earned it.

Not sure what they were called before Fulgrim arrived as I think Fulgrim was allowed to call the original two hundred or so Astartes the Emperor's Children and allow them to rise like a phoenix. Rising from the ashes and all that.

Who is Belisarius Cawl? That Tech Priest that is 10,000 years old?

Could understand bureaucracy like the fucking paper pusher he was and knew how to wage war but I think as far as Primarchs go he wasn't the best at science shit. It was something that none of the Primarchs have an obvious talent for it. Probably do with them being generals, not scientists.

Only one's who did constructive things were Dorn and Perturabo but neither of them really delved into the sciences of gene-manipulation and shit like that.

And to be honest none of them needed to. Corax only looked into it when it came his Legion being shattered and thought he could try to make it so that he could rebuild his Legion.

Then in the ten thousand years it would have been shelved. Even if let's say three hundred years after Girlyman "Died" it was found out that someone was manipulating Space Marine designs it'd be a "THE FUCK YOU DOING HERETIC!" moment.

Someone might question why this group is diverting resources to this and that. If they were taking Gene-seed to fuck around with it'd raise serious questions as well.

If Big E wanted I imagine he could.

New armour I could understand but the deviation from the Space Marine design itself is serious dangerous territory.

When other Primarchs return there will be serious questions for Girlyman and probably distaste for this.

Scale marines could have just been done anyway.... But I guess this is one way to get them. =/

Well Corax had data to do so.

Think that it was then given to Fabius in a damaged state.

That is where the data ended. Don't think anyone else has their hands on an original copy of the data which actually works.

I can deal with new Power Armour, Girlyman will allow the Mechanicus to progress technologically a bit at least.

But I though MKVIII was the latest, they skipping MKIX or am I missing something?

Abaddon will fuck him up again if he does that.

Abaddon is great at fucking up other Chaos Forces, the Imperium... Not so much...
  7. Fabius also created blood fiends out of Sanguinus' blood which were super hard to kill and required the blood angels and their successor chapters to defend Baal
    Caentyr likes this.

Was that set in a historical setting where Women Soldiers didn't really exist?
