Well female Time Lords exist obviously it is when they regenerate they can change from male to female and the other way around. But eh... Just irritates me but then again the last Doctor Who Episode I watched was the Christmas Special and it was to me sub par.
I find it cute how you think this will do you anygood. A diverse cast in say a game has characters from multiple backgrounds, be it race, sex, nationality, etc. It doesn't just have to be "muh black teen with a fro" Teamfortress 2 was pretty diverse in its character backgrounds and had it's token black dude, but they oh I don't know, give a shit and made him interesting/entertaining? The game wasn't trying to make some gay political social statement and was just making characters, they happened to be diverse in some aspects. The issue with having "too much diversity" is basically when you stop making characters and start filling quotas on what race they are and trying on purpose to make your cast "diverse". They're just throwing in a black teen with a fro for the sake of appeasement rather than trying to actually make a character. They also forget diversity doesn't just need to be race or sex, but what do I know I'm toxic masculine trash. Boy that "Define eht" bullshit sure backfired didn't it?
Mass Effect: Andromeda, as I recall, has a story involving the civilizations of two galaxies interacting for the first time. A wide variety of species are involved, including humans. In what sense is diversity inappropriate for Mass Effect: Andromeda?
"I can't argue with you guys nor can I debunk you so I'll ask some questions over and over, have you answer them; and then pompously retort back with another half-baked question that you will answer." Token characters are called that because its often just writers going "aw geez we need a black dude for PR" Some turn out to be good though, I will admit. I loved the Demoman for example
Because in Andromeda they shove it down your throat by shouting, at every opportunity, "WOW, LOOK AT THE PEOPLE WE HIRED! WE'RE SO DIVERSE! WOW!"
