Well not quite. A lot of gods are to die in Ragnarok in battles with their foes, either while killing their foe or being immediately avenged. But it's not the End of Days type sceanario, more like the end of a cycle. Afterwards lesser known gods are to take over as the main pantheon and the world is reborn. It's not really an end but a new beginning of the next cycle.
That really seems to point out why we should return to more traditional views, because the replacement culture is pretty damn shallow and degenerate.
Just finished off Angels of Caliban. So... Curze saves the Imperium... That's... I don't know how to feel about that...
Well you should at least read the Hamaval, as it's the most direct representative of the actual beliefs. It's not so much allegory or a story but claimed to be Odin's views. But be forewarned, it's a bit over a hundred stanzas and since it's old Icelandic translated into olde English let's just say the wording often looks unfamiliar. However I'd say the ideas held up better than how it's written.
