Dis is one of those times. Trying to prove to someone you'll never agree with. It's not da end of da world.

    Trust me... I know.
  5. What I don't understand is, you say you don't like war. Well then why do you play Warhammer? Why do you collect models, who's purpose in the fluff is to take life.

Can you really say that most works of fantasy or sci fi, would be good without conflict? It's the same in history. Humans might not like war, but on some level I'd go as far to say all Humans, feel some form of entertainment in watching or participating in an act of conflict.

It could be real war, reading of wars, or even playing games about wars.

If you did not like conflict, you wouldn't be into Warhammer for example....Because frankly I can't see a reason why anyone who doesn't like conflict, would ever be into one of the most brutal works of fiction ever made.

Well I like Warhammer, I like reading about past wars but I detest people wanting to cause war...

Actually, I was planning on listening to their description, and then typing, "Hahaha! You really have no clue," because they definitely don't understand me.

    It's fiction.

    Again, fiction.

Real war is bad. Learning about war is good. Games are fiction, and therefore not real.

I got into WH40k because it was the game my friends were playing and I don't mind violence in fiction.
  9. Would history be anywhere near as interesting Kaptin, without the drama, that conflicts create? There is more to history then war indeed, but the drama of war, is the most exciting part of it.

Glory of the British Empire for example.
