You're not wrong, that book made me a die hard Ultramarine. It made me also detest the ever living shit out of the Word Bearers.......Honorius deserved better, then getting killed drinking with a friend from the Word Bearers.
Forest, actually. There's no oceans nearby, so it would be a forest. In the middle of the night, so there are fewer witnesses and no one tries to stop me. But only if/when it comes to that.
The book literally is holy. It's among the best books in Black Library, because almost all the characters are well done, and watching Calth burn (A world on the cusp of being greater then Macragge) as ships fall to the planet, is a truly monumental set piece to mark the beginning of the betrayal at Calth. Not many more characters then that.
I read an excerpt from that once. It was interesting to read Hitler's thoughts on the difference between socialism and communism, along with the reasons for some of their iconography.
