The entire point of Curze allowing himself to die for his crimes was to prove he was right, his actions were all justified. Only Primarch who can come back to life after being killed a million times is Vulkan.
Im sure the Emperor is crying because Curze proved his little point. Curze was a traitor, who died a traitors death. Vengeance for all the betrayed on Istvaan V delivered.
