I probably should get into Witcher. Think I've got Witcher 3 ready to download on my Xbox One.
  3. It's funny that the strange looking one from ME: Andromeda seems to be the protagonist Ryder.

    Cora looks alright.

    And so does Suvi.

    But the female Ryder.

Well at least the statue of her looks kinda alright.

    And here's the male Ryder.

    Meanwhile on an unrelated note.......

Has anyone ever heard of a film called Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel?

So get the Slavs to make games from now on. At least then I will be happier.

This is your team, just face it this is what you'll have to support you.

They will be sat in the spawn fucking around or deciding that Heavy Tank that could hold the line would be better sat in the spawn poking out just a little bit to try and snipe.

Perhaps you'll have some Supports who're just going to try and mortar the enemy and hide in the spawn.

You'll have around half the team trying to snipe the enemy even though they're in shit positions to do so.

And that is just for starters. They'll do shit that you'll just look at and scratch your head thinking, why the fuck did they do that...
  6. Most of the dev team were contractors and idiots who usually had nothing to do with the department they were sent to before working on Amdromeda.
    It really shows.
Only the combat is half decent, and that's because shooters are notoriously hard to fuck up in that regard.
@dx144 After reading The Bleeding Chalice (good book, but not what I had expected) and a bit of Faith and Fire (by James Swallow) I have to come to a realisation about Warhammer 40k novels.
    They're works of fanfiction.
Some authors are probably worse than Counter, but even he makes it hard to believe that I am reading anything other than something from fanfiction.net
  7. Read the older novels, the Pre-Ward Grey Knights books are amazing
Also the post ward GK book was good but that's because it was by Aaron Dembski bowden

  8. Sadly, I habe less $$ now than a Pole. Also, dunno if my local bookstore carries any pre-Wardian books.

A lot of it is, but if it has the Black Library seal of approval then by rights it is lore.

Personally I stick to Heresy Novels and I think for the most part they are all in communication about the novels their writing.

I've heard that Propsero Burns and A Thousands Sons are conflicting when covering a very similar story, obviously the destruction of Propsero. That is just what I've heard as I've only read A Thousand Sons.

Something to do with in A Thousand Sons, Magnus tries to convey his message of Horus fucking up and turning against the Imperium while Propsero Burns has no mention of that happening.

Perhaps Master of Mankind sheds more light on that but I've just started Angels of Caliban and preparing for the retardation that is the Dark Angels.

But more to the point of it being Fan Fiction, I think Aaron Dembski Bowden is a Night Lord fan because of how well he portrays the Night Lords. The moment he learnt he didn't have to write a Space Marine Novel he went straight for Night Lords. Now maybe he'll write in stuff that seems silly and only the Night Lords could do but he doesn't make the Night Lords over powered or do some bullshit.

The mortals they find for the most part have a skewed view of the Great Crusade which is considered mythological to many with there being only the Loyalist Legions so when, Talos mentions he's of the Eight Legion the mortal questions it as there is no such Legion. Talos then explains this Imperium is his because he's killed for it, bled for it and so on.

I rarely read anything that has someone being over powered. Primarchs usually do a good job of that but they're designed with that in mind. Unremembered Empire people dislike with Curze as they say is on Steroids as he fights two other Primarchs, wins and then fucking up a large portion of Marines as well.

Personally I see Curze as just that cool but whatever...
