Well that's rather simple, they were lurking in the distance and only just then went on a war path of exploration for some reason, they didn't know of eachother before and didn't have either the resources or inclination to branch out. It's a lot easier to justify in lore than someone popping up from a totally different time period. And I don't think any of the one's I mentioned would be just a reskin, maybe the Chinese and Saracens, but if I recall the Indians especially had some odd weapons and fighting styles. Now that I think about it they'd probably be the best option. But of course it's all theoretical, I mean how can we be sure the one's they are going to add won't just be glorified reskins? The thing is, they seemed to have a different conception of honor. What I have read is that to a Mongol beating an enemy in a straight up fight is honorable, but tricking them with a clever ruse and crushing them intelligently was even more honorable. That's why they didn't have reservations with mock retreats and murdering the enemy from afar with a relentless hail of arrows.

I love everything I just heard. Humanity is too divided and at war with the Human Empire of the Savage Warbands and Psychotics.
