When DICE said they want to make it as realistic as possible while sacrifing parts for playability as no one would play as the Germans if they didn't get any tanks because the Germans saw Tanks when they first deployed as fuck ups with no real use and so did a large portion of the British Army before they were convinced to keep them going. If they said this is WWI Inspired but takes place with other shit around then sure I could see it as being acceptable to fuck around with shit but with them deciding to add in races that weren't even in the war is just silly and doesn't really do service to those in said war. Fuck it let's make a game a game to do with the Three Kingdoms in China that took place in like 200ad or something bu make sure there are 50% Whites and Blacks in there... Because reasons...
