Well Magos situation with these things are differnt each time, and this gorilla began becoming agressive I heard. Humans are what they are not really evil not really good.
Well yeah, the recent one was dragging the kid around by his ankles banging his head on the concrete. Not to mention if he went ape shit he could have killed the kid in like a second. The parents are to blame not the zookeepers.

It has happened twice before that a young kid has fallen into such a Zoo pen with Gorillas. Maybe they should enclose them in 6ft fences on top of what they have? Plus why did they have to kill that Gorilla? Yes, he was being an arsehole dragging that kid around like that. But couldn't they have tranquilised him? Also, the previous incidents had zoo-workers reacting within minutes, even risking their lives by exposing themselves to possible attack from the Gorillas. I didn't see that in the recent incident, or am I missing something?
Tranqs arn't immdeiate. They killed the Gorilla, because he was dragging the kid around. The kid even went to the Hospital for a concussion. It could have been much worse. I believe they just shot it.
Actually Lion, mag has some sort of point No not all tranqs are immediate but some are so high in dosage that it might as well be immediate you know...they ones that are meant to be used on Gorillas... If the zoo was going to keep an animal that big around they should have had Tranqs powerful enough to subdue it. Its more of an issue with the zoo being unequipped in my opinion. however since they lacked powerful enough tranqs they made a good call in shooting the gorilla. Its sad that they had to do it but the poor gorilla would have accidentally killed the kid if he kept dragging him around. Gorillas are pretty fukking strong and he would have pulled the little kid's arm out after a while >_<. The zoo needs to be sued or some shit though because they should have been equipped for this shit if they were going to have tiny walls and giant gorillas. And also to say that they shouldn't have shot him despite having no powerful tranqs is just retarded, the kid would have died if they didn't and while Silver backs are endangered the life of a child should be placed above that of a non-sapient gorilla.
Try telling that to some people....The amount of people I have seen, saying they should have shot the kid or the mum...
