And Craft world eldar tend to be idiots when it comes to warfare and there dark cousins will alwalys kick more ass then there whiter cousins Blood ravens are better then those pansy blood angels. At least the blood ravens make use of there relics and recover and use things instead of putting it up in some shirne or armory to shine for the rest of its life till its stolen or breaks down.
I am not talking about those Table top rules I am talking a bit realistically if you look at it from what there darker cousins use compared to them. Craftworld eldar tend to restrict themselves while there cousins can almost do literally almost anything they want with war. They could likely if they put there heads to it make a virus to wipe out space marines and launch more raids into real space.
The Eldar has Farseers. Said Farseers gathered together, can predict the tides of war in multiple battlezones. This alone gives them a massive advantage over any other race, and then you have the Eldar warmachines, Aspect warriors, and Wraith titans. ....I don't get what you mean by restricting themselves. The Eldar will almost always take advantage of any situation, as their war masks stop them from feeling empathy or shame.
Bull shit there tradations are what hindering them from reproducing as a race. Also Farseers are never a guaranteed do to the strands of fate. Eldar may have titans but there dark brethern still have the unmatched ablility about doing mostly anything they want. Shit if they wanted I believed they could take there cousins down and enslave them if they wanted to. That also raises a question of why eldar don't try reproducing by using artificial insemination and putting the child into a tube after insemination or studying reproduction to bring up there birth rates. Then theres also the issue about no race USING ORBITAL VEHICLES TO BOMBARD THERE ENEMY FROM SPACE *looks at imperium angrily as they do almost nothing about the tau* Then theres also clones with the dark eldar hell takes longer to train a aspect warrior then it does likely to train a dark eldar warrior with the ability and the tech they have I believe the dark eldar could smoke there cousins.
The Eldar don't produce rapidly because Eldar gestation takes a long time. They do it often enough to have an active effect on the battlefield. Again, Eldar have Wraith constructs, Aspect warriors (who are no joke and are just as merciless) The Pheonix lords, countless amounts of super heavy tanks, and the entirety of the Craftworlds population to turn to if need be. The Eldar don't clone because they need Spiritstones for their children, which requires plunging into the Eye to get them. This also contributes to why they don't expand rapidly. Training of an Aspect warrior is not long on average. Korlandrill from Path did it quite quikly. He also became an Exarch quite quickly. Even if the Dark Eldar invaded a Craftworld, the entire Craftworld itself would be turned against them.
Actually, aren't Eldar outside of the military just like regular citizens/civilians? Like, they don't actually have any training in using weapons.
In times of need they gather the population into a militia group called Guardians. Usually in defense of the Craftworld.
