I read in the Iron warrior book it took them a few minutes with the support of a transport ship onto the ground and running. Though the transport ship itself was some how a tyranid infected with a tech virus and refitted to the purpose of carrying titans and the titans most likely had daemons controlling them likely lessened some time for them. Also they had to get columns of tanks and infantry to go in the right ways.
Wonderful, let's get some corpse to put on that thing to be cool. Well that seems like a thing Creed could do... I call for an Imperator Titan behind enemy lines and it'll destroy anything that it lands near. I swear in Horus Rising or Galaxy in Flames there is something that talks of Titans being readied to return to orbit as it is all well and good dropping a Titan but how do you get it off... Does it just become part of the PDF because fuck it we can't get it off the planet...
They have massive specialist haulers with antigrav engines. There's a short example of a Titan landing in Dark Creed. You don't want to land a Titan in a hot landing zone because if the enemy takes out one of the lander's engines it's going to drop like a rock.
I recommend reading this. Explains a lot and how the Titan Legion would never ever EVER abandon a Titan. Ever! Also if you see a group of radspiders, there not mine. Please don't try to step on them, they will not appreciate and eat you.
I use big words to sound smart too. Most Imperials are like that, but I expected better from such a technologically superior race. The Tau Empire have hopes in your ability to reason. Wooh there champ, I'm a red blooded human like you. Keep those viruses to yourself if you know what's good for you, some things are greater than our ability to decided.
