    Destiny!

    Atmosphere

Graphically, pretty darn good. Nothing breathtaking though. Aesthetically impressive, the design of the enemies and locales are top notch, as is the OST. I could listen to the OST for hours. It does a very good job of setting the tone for the entire game.

    Gameplay

The gameplay itself legitimately fun, especially in PvP, but the goals and system of rewards are simplistic and lackluster. The single player campaign is little more than a tutorial to introduce you to the high level content (which it epically fails at preparing you for, the Raids and PvP in particular). The Rewards system in both PvE and PvP is random that disproportionately benefits weaker players and lengthens playing time simultaneously, whilst also encouraging you to purchase DLC by making the best items in the game locked unless you do so.

The only area where this game truly excels is in the gameplay itself, even if the system of rewards and goals are by design simple enough that a little kid could understand and achieve them, with perhaps the exception of the high-level Raids, which are quite challenging, but even then, the loot system is RANDOM and the individual who does the worst on your team is just as likely to receive a Legendary or Exotic weapon as the individual who essentially carried it.

    Story

The story is absolute garbage (the lead creative writer left a year before it was released). You are forced to read these grimoire cards in order to gain a better understanding of the plot and even why the fuck you're doing what you're doing, but you CAN'T access them in the game; you need a platform upon which you can access the app that allows you to read them. I know Ipads and most Apple products work for it, but I refuse to stoop to that level just to understand a plot that should have been a part of the fucking game to begin with so I cannot know for sure.

    Replayability

Destiny is the predominantly Co-Op experience that Activision made sure Call of Duty did not have. For the first time since... what, Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty did not have a dedicated cooperative experience, despite the fact Advanced Warfare is the first game in the HISTORY of the franchise to benefit from a three year development cycle. And this is because Activision doesn't want you to purchase Call of Duty OR Destiny; it isn't a secret that most, if not all, consumers play Call of Duty for its competitive multiplayer experience. Thus, Activision made two products (Destiny and Advanced Warfare) that cost 60 dollars to cater to two different audiences (those who prefer PvE and those who prefer PvP) instead of providing a single, well rounded experience that can satisfy both.

This game has been intentionally dumbed down, as evidenced by its Teen rating in order to cater not just to more casual players but to younger ones as well. If you can be satisfied by the (admittedly excellent) gameplay mechanics alone, then you will probably enjoy this game a great deal. If you are the type of player that is goal-oriented and needs motivation beyond the experience itself, then chances are you will be putting this game away very quickly.

    Notes

The DLC is NOT worth their standalone cost; if you were to get them, purchase them in a bundle along with the base game.

Waiting for more DLC and title updates to come out will likely vastly improve the quality of your experience and save you a lot of money if you are thinking about purchasing it for the first time, though I think it’s unlikely that some of the game’s more systemic problems will never be intentionally fixed, because Activision wants you to purchase Call of Duty.

In the end, I give this game a disappointing, but not terrible, 6/10.

  7. He looks more like a vampire than a wolf.

I thought that was the Blood Angels' schtick.
  8. the wolf fangs has allways looked like that :p

its not my fault that modern vampire writing went away from the originals and nosterfaru vampirerisem.

But then again he has allways been ferocius, and they are definetly longer than his wolfblade days.
