Wode is a plant used to make the Blue body/war paint used by Celtic Warriors of Britain (and medieval Scots). They usually painted patterns, like spirals, over the skin of their faces and torsos.
As a Roman, seeing a horde of blue painted Celts would give you a 'brown trouser' moment.

I am now imagining a Vogon Demolition fleet facing off against Starfleet!

A Tervigon, a squad of Hormagaunts, a squad of Termagaunts, about 9 Warriors, a Zoanthrope and a Trygon.
