I'm not entirely certain what Kor Phaeron was doing, I think he was probably put on the main Word Bearer offensive for the duration of their deception, Erebus was more suited for the spy game. One thing to keep in mind that Phaeron wasn't well liked by the Legion, he was way past prime to become an astartes but lorgar wanted his father figure at his side, so their were large elements of the legion who resented him for this nepotism. From his lines in First Heretic it appears that he doubted the Emperor's divinity from the beginning, which is why he persevered the ancient tomes of forbidden religions. Erebus did so too as well, but it becomes clear he's far more interested in how chaos lore can benifit himself, I think that perhaps Kor Phearon preserved them for a more noble purpose, he simply didn't think it was right to erase all religions not their own, thus he preserved them no different than a Thousand Son attempting to preserve the cultural knowledge of conquored people's. But yeah, I generally agree with that viewpoint. While Lorgar was stargazing nefarious elements of the Legion did the dirty work required to start an uprising. That is one of the great tragedies of the Word Bearers, bastards like Erebus were necessary to get the ball rolling without getting them all killed, which would have made it all for nothing. But yeah, Lorgar had hoped for a peaceful coup.
*Slices video in half* None of that. It's Farley time! View: http://youtu.be/Gra9vwzMU5k Couldn't even control his own progeny. Seems that family was just destined for regicide.
Well what happened to the Word Bearers was tragic with their favoured world being turned to ashes and then having to swear a new oath of allegiance to the Emperor in said ashes would probably fuck you off. Just a bit... I guess having another Primarch there didn't help as no one likes to be humiliated but then to be watched upon by someone who's supposedly your equal and you've just been shown to be lacking compared to them... I do seem to remember bits about Kor Phaeron being not a true Astarte and it pissed off other marines because of it... Can't really remember where it is said in First Heretic though... Hilarious but I still prefer Frankie Boyle!
You try living in a zero G environment all your life and see how much muscle mass and bones you retain. You're just jelly of our spess bears!
What did they live on a moon world or ships? it seems they would need some way to get muscles if they want to move around a ship?
