Yeah I remember when Lorgar first goes to Cadia and meets with that Daemon woman and speaks with her the lead Custodian was confused at how Lorgar was able to communicate with her and Lorgar says that she was speaking Colchisian. I thought that it was Erebus and Kor Phaeron that started to spread Chaos around the Legions and what not so they could change the Imperium but Lorgar didn't want to kill the Imperium. I think Erebus and Kor Phaeron started doing most of it when Lorgar went off on his journey into the Warp for enlightenment from the Chaos Gods. Personally I do enjoy the Word Bearers as they're dedicated to their beliefs even if they are wrong. They're the only Chaos Marines I've painted as well... I'm not saying they should have gone back to Terra with friendship and kisses to spread Chaos throughout the Imperium but that is what Lorgar wanted to do rather than killing his own people. Except for the Ultramarines, fuck those guys.
I have only seen a few people like that. Though i don't know how they would link that to 40k. Unless it was the genocide with xenos
We talkin' about the motivations and/or moral justifications for why the Primarchs and/or Emperor did what they did during the Great Crusade and Heresy, again? We all know the situation was absolutely screwed, anyone claiming that anyone's overall actions were completely justified ('cept Sanguinius, damn Mary Sue Primarch) is thinking from a biased point of view. With my viewpoint now firmly settled so I don't get called out, I think I'll just lurk around this conversation for a little bit.
I run into the odd one here and there. But there's been two groups where it was a reoccurring theme for the majority of the members. Just kinda bothered me I suppose. *shrug*
